Lunas policy

How training data works

What happens when you choose to help improve Stethos: what's included, how it's de-identified and human-reviewed, and what Lunas will never do with it.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Your choice, in one paragraph

If you turn on "Help improve Stethos", conversations and record reviews you have AFTER that moment may be considered for improving our medical AI models. Nothing you did before you said yes is ever included, and you can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy. Saying no — or saying nothing — changes absolutely nothing about how well Lunas works for you.

What's included, and what never is

Included, only after your yes: chat conversations, guided-intake exchanges, and your confirm/correct/reject decisions on extracted record values (those review decisions are the most valuable teaching signal).

Never included: your name, email, or account identity; anything captured before you opted in; and anything you create after you turn the choice off.

What happens before anything is used

De-identification first: names, contact details, exact dates and places, and identifying combinations are stripped or replaced before a conversation can become a training candidate.

A human reviewer then checks every candidate. Nothing enters a training dataset automatically — if identifying detail survives de-identification, the reviewer rejects it.

Every approved item records which consent version it was collected under, so your yes always maps to the exact words you agreed to.

What Lunas will never do with it

Never sold. Never shared with advertisers, data brokers, insurers, or employers. Never used to make decisions about you. Never handed to third-party AI providers for their own training.

Training data has exactly one purpose: making Stethos better at helping people understand their health.

Changing your mind

Turn the choice off in Settings → Privacy at any time. From that moment nothing new is collected, and material that hasn't yet been used is unmarked and excluded.

If you delete your account, your training material is deleted with it.

Consent versions

model-training-v1 (July 2026): the current consent text, shown on the Welcome card and in Settings → Privacy. If we materially change what this choice means, we will ask you again under a new version — an old yes never silently covers new terms.
